General introduction

E-mailing Animated GIF Banner is one of many banner types that can be designed and implemented in your company's E-mails by ContentForces. It allows to include animation which makes it more realistic as compared to static banners. ContentForces recommends to make only small Animated GIF banners as the size of the file should not have too much impact on the performance of the whole website (loading time). These can be done on the basis of various image formats (most common are *.gif, *.bmp, *.jpg, *.png). Such a banner may consist of two to eight frames (individual images) which are displayed one after the other giving a semblance of animation. Additionally, it is possible to define the time for which each frame is displayed by the next.
