General introduction
The ContentForces Order Form is a component that can be used in your website to enable efficient conversion of your website visitors into customers. It gives you a competitive advantage by allowing your customers to order the product or service directly from your website where its details are easily found. Moreover, ContentForces Order Form is flexible enough to be used to order less typical items than products – such as prescriptions or invitations.
Key benefits
- Your company can sell directly via Internet.
- Possibility to process an order in the Content & Campaign Management System (CCMS).
- A convenient -24/7- way for your web visitors to order products or services in an intuitive manner.
- It provides a concise review of the order and visitor's input in one place.
Website visitor perspective
- The website visitor wants to order a product or service.
- On the Product Detail or Product Variant Detail (if applicable) page, the website visitor can see Order Form. This component consists Product Name, Quantity, Price and Total Price (obligated parameters). There can also be optional parameters such as Vat, Tax, Discount, Shipping Costs and Required Prepayment. The website visitor can edit product's quantity and the Total Price for order is recalculated automatically. Finally, the client can click on the 'Order Now' button to start ordering.
- After clicking on the 'Order Now' button, the website visitor is redirected to the 'Terms and Conditions Agreement' form which is the optional step. The customer can read all terms and then click on the 'I Agree' button. There is also 'Cancel' button if the website visitor wants to resign from the order.
- The next step is 'Confirmation of ordered products'. This is read-only form, where the website visitor can only see selected product and other data. The website visitor can click on the 'Confirm' button and go further or 'Back' button and return to the Product Detail or Product Variant Detail page.
- Then, the website visitor is redirected to another optional step which is the ContentForces 'Login' component (or registration, in case of the first visit). The contact data are copied automatically to the data fields in the next step with the possibility of edition of the data.
- If you do not choose the 'Login' component, in the 'Fill personal data' step your website visitor will have to insert all personal data manually. Apart from that, this step also contains the order information confirmed earlier also as read-only above personal data. The website visitor can click on the 'Confirm' (going to the next step) button or 'Back' (going to the previous step).
- Then, the website visitor receives his/her Order Form as ready-only, can view this and make final confirmation of the order by clicking on the 'Confirm' button. If the website visitor clicks on the 'Back' button, he/she will return to the previous step. The website visitor is also able to print the Confirmation of the Order by clicking on the link on this page – clicking it causes opening a new window with printer friendly version of the Confirmation of Order and pop-up print window of a browser.
- (You can also choose the ContentForces Payment Integration Service to be the next step.
- The last step consists 'Thank you' (appears when a payment system confirms the payment) or 'Failure' (when not) page.
