General introduction

The Contact Form is one of ContentForces' components that can be used in your website. It is a very efficient tool to get into contact with your potential clients. The Contact Form allows your website visitors to leave their own contact data and a request about the products, services and/or about the company.
If the website visitor enters the Form, the website manager will obtain access to the website visitors' data (lead or prospect). Your sales team will have the opportunity to conact potential clients who are truly interested in your company, products or services.

Website visitor perspective

  • The website visitor is interested in information about the company and/or your company's products or services from the website.
  • The website visitor clicks on the link/button/navigation (e.g. 'contact') that goes to the Contact Form (optionally: Quick Contact Request located on various pages).
  • The website visitor enters the Contact Form with his/her request and contact data.
  • After selecting some information, the website visitor submits the Contact Form.

Website manager perspective

  • The design for the Contact Form corresponds to the base design.
  • At the beginning of the website implementation process, the website manager can choose from different types of fields (for the convenience of website visitors and for the efficiency to manage the entered data): Text fields (single line), Radio buttons , Check boxes, Drop downs with possible selection/question choices and Textarea (larger text box/multiple lines).
  • There is a possibity to use various types of display within one Contact Form.
  • E-mail notification about every new submitted order is delivered to the website manager per each order to one (or more) e-mail address.
  • A submitted Contact Form can be processed in CF CCMS by changing the statuses from 'new leads', 'qualified leads', 'leads to close deal' and 'disqualified leads'.
  • Multilingual approach - the same Contact Form can be setup by ContentForces for different regions/languages. The labels for every field in the Contact Form can be easily translated by the website manager.
  • The default fields for the Contact Form include: Name, Company, Phone, E-mail, Subject, Message.
  • Other possible fields: Prefix (e.g. Mr, Ms)/ Title, First name, Last name, Middle Initial, Message, Address (address line 1, address line 2), City, State or province, Country, Postal/area/zip code, Contact phone/cell number/ home phone / work phone, Comments and Requests, Yes/no questions.
